On Saturday August 9, 2014 the Riordan Program Alumni Association in partnership with New York Life will be hosting the 12th Annual Diversity MBA Admissions Conference at UCLA Covel Commons. The conference allows attendees to interact directly with MBA Admissions Directors from the country’s top business schools, learn about the MBA Admissions process and the relative strengths of the attending business school’s curriculum and student culture.
The Saturday Business Academy had a successful field trip to UCLA on Saturday, March 16th. All three high schools were in attendance with over 80 high school students, 30 mentors, and 11 Program Managers. The agenda included a full campus tour, lunch from the local BJ’s pizzeria and speakers Reggie Waddell from the UCLA Academic Advancement Program and Edgar Escobedo from the Riordan Fellows Program. The trip concluded with a raffle where two lucky students received a UCLA shirt and UCLA hat.
On Thursday, March 21, 2013 the Riordan Programs Alumni Association in partnership with The Riordan Programs will be making its way up to Northern California to host the first Bay Area Diversity Mixer. The theme for this year’s event is Making the Connections: Business School and Beyond.
Join over 100 professionals from around Northern California and business students and alumni from some of the area’s top programs for an evening of networking. Hear from special guest speakers – Erin Kellerhals, Senior Associate Director of Admissions, Eric Abrams, Director of Diversity Initiatives from the Haas School of Business at Berkeley, and Roxanne Mendez, Executive Director of The Riordan Programs on some of the opportunities and resources that are available to those wanting to pursue an MBA or looking to expand their professional networks.
